BES Grandbuddy Program

Are you looking for a way to make an impact in your community?  Look no further than our Grandbuddy partnership with Blackburn elementary!

We want to engage senior friends who are willing to connect with students who need extra support and encouragement.  This is a minimum once a month commitment, so that you can build relationships and make a difference in the lives of kids.  Primarily, this is a lunch buddy program, where you will eat with students, get to know them, and let them know someone cares about them.  You can select the grade levels you are interested in, and we will match you up with students!  As you get to know them, you can continue to connect throughout the school year.

As a volunteer in Catawba County Schools, you will have to complete the Volunteer Application and send your receipt of completion to amanda@mvbchickory.com.
